About Suzette Lindsay
Creating warm children’s literature that helps families talk openly, share memories, and keep love close across generations.

Suzette Lindsay
I'm Suzette, a Canadian who now calls Australia home. I've been married for almost forty years to my wonderful husband, Nick. Together we raised two beautiful children; Devon and Chelsea.
When our children were young, we loved reading stories to them. Those stories became more than words on a page. They brought calm and excitement, sparked conversations, encouraged us to imagine and dream, also created moments of connection that have stayed with us long after childhood.
It was this love of family, storytelling and those precious bonds between generations that inspired my two children's books, Gramma, Through My Eyes and Walking in Grampa's Shadow.
Through my stories, I hope to create that same sense of warmth and connection for other families--the joy of sharing a story, the love found in its characters, and the memories that can last a lifetime.
The Vision Behind the Stories
“My hope is that these books serve as gentle bridge-builders for families. Rather than focusing on sadness, we invite children to celebrate laughter, remember funny sayings, and realize that love continues to connect us deeply.”
